Down to a sunless sea: memories of my dad is a new podcast series from Getting Better Acquainted launching in 2020. Part of the series will be funded by the British Podcast Awards Fund and the Wellcome Trust.

The series will be about the my relationship with my dad, my dad's life story and his descent into dementia and will be a mix of creative nonfiction and clips from over 10 years of audio recordings. The BPA funding will enable me to make some episodes that explore the science behind the issues covered which include dementia, heart conditions, mental health and euthanasia.
